February LSAT Rescheduled for Tomorrow? Don’t Fret
I’m sorry, you guys got screwed.
To anyone in that group, you know what I mean. To those of you who are a bit confused, prepare to feel sorry for some of your compatriots.
So to fill everyone in, after cancelling the LSAT in many East Coast locations last weekend because of Nemo, the LSAC decided to inform people yesterday that they would be making the February LSAT up tomorrow. I think the number I heard was 63 hours of notice.
And that sucks.
But, in all honesty, it’s also not that bad.
First, you probably took a day or two off to dig out from under Nemo. Heading into the February LSAT, most people are a little burnt out.

Things to Do the Day Before the February LSAT (Except Study)
Happy February LSAT eve, everyone.
For those in the Northeast affected by Nemo, check out this blog post for details about any February LSAT cancellations. We’ll be updating it throughout the day with the latest info from LSAC. If you are among those affected, hunker down with a bowl of soup and do some LSAT questions to stay fresh. If you are not among those affected, please, continue reading for some handy advice regarding recommended activities for the day before the February LSAT.
Today should be a mental day of rest. The only LSAT-related thing you ought to do today is make sure you’re logistically ready to go tomorrow. Make sure you have the route to your LSAT test center mapped out.

Matt Shinners’s 2013 February LSAT Predictions
UPDATE: LSAC has closed some February LSAT testing centers in the northeast due to an approaching blizzard. Check this LSAT blog post for more.
Making predictions for the February LSAT is a liberating experience. As the only unreleased LSAT of the year, I can say pretty much anything without fear of being proven wrong.
Plus, I can’t get it as wrong as those Mayans, amirite?
2013 February LSAT Prediction I: Logic Games
Logic Games have been flip-flopping between obscenely difficult (think Zones) and remarkably easy over the past few LSATs. Read Entire Article…

Your Final Week of February LSAT Prep is All About Primping
Valentine’s Day may still be more than a week away, but if you have a date with the February LSAT this Saturday, it’s time to start primping.
No number of roses will help you seduce the LSAT. But there are many other things you’ll need to bring if you want to stand a chance. Carefully read the LSAC list of items needed for admission to the LSAT testing center and start getting everything together. Most notably, you need to attach a passport-style photo to your February LSAT testing center admission ticket; the LSAC wants to have something to remember you by. The LSAC is picky about photos; follow the LSAT testing center admission ticket photo requirements to the letter. If you’re missing any of the required items, LSAC will have no compunction about kicking you to the curb.

How to Study for the February LSAT on Super Bowl Sunday
The countdown to the February LSAT continues. You only have eight days left, so make them count.
Unfortunately, one of those days is Super Bowl Sunday. You’ll have to consider how to arrange your LSAT prep accordingly, but first, pause to consider the advantages you have over the players on the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens: You won’t have to spend a whole day dealing with the media in the lead-up to LSAT test day. Taking the LSAT is exceedingly unlikely to give you a concussion. If you get sick right after your most accurate LSAT practice test ever, your backup isn’t going to come in and take your job as starting LSAT test taker. If you get injured while prepping for the February LSAT, deer antler spray isn’t going to help you (though it might make up for all the showers you’ve missed).

Blueprint’s Spring LSAT Courses are Open for Enrollment
The February LSAT is only a week-and-a-half away, so if you’re not quite ready for it yet, your next option is the June LSAT. Yes, January isn’t even over yet, and we’re already thinking about the summer. It’s what we do. Plus, some of us have Coachella tickets.
The June LSAT is four-and-a-half months away, and you have until May 17 to register for it. However, the start date of your June LSAT prep should begin long before. Lucky for you, Blueprint LSAT Prep’s spring LSAT courses are open for enrollment right now.
Starting in a few months, Blueprint will be offering 27 spring LSAT classes in 24 locations across the country. Most begin in early April. Some start in March. All of them feature world-class instruction and 112 hours of the most advanced LSAT prep curriculum you can find.

Hang in There: Only Two Weeks ‘Til the February LSAT
The February LSAT is 15 days away. Does that make you freak out? In two weeks and a day, you’ll be sitting in an LSAT test center tackling a fresh slate of logic games, reading comp, and logical reasoning. And even though it’s perfectly normal to freak out, going crazy doesn’t help you prepare. Channel that energy into your studies so that you’re confident you’ll be as ready as you can be on LSAT test day.
If there are any changes to your technique you think you need to make, those should be your first priority. Likewise, any bits or pieces of the LSAT you haven’t covered yet in your studies or aren’t sure how to deal with, you should get to as soon as possible. It’s important that you be consistent in the way you practice over these next two weeks. You’ll be refining your approach as you go, of course, but it isn’t generally advisable to make significant changes to your technique in the week before the LSAT.

Several February LSAT Deadlines Expire Today
If you’ve got the 2013 February LSAT in your sights, then today (and Jan. 20) are important dates for you. So keep readin’, pal.
Today is your last day to register late for the February LSAT online. Today is also your last day to change your February LSAT test center and/or your February LSAT test date by mail, phone or fax (Jan. 20 is the last day to do so online). And today is the last day to withdraw registration for the February LSAT and still get a little money back.
Of course, all of these February LSAT deadlines come with prices. Do you want to register late? Get ready to toss an extra $69 LSAC’s way, along with the $160 they were already going to charge you. Want to change your February LSAT test center? That’ll be $35, thanks. Want to change your February LSAT test date? That’s another $80. And if you withdraw altogether, you get a measly $49 back (which means you spent $111 to NOT take the February LSAT).

Tricky LSAT Phrases to Keep an Eye Out For
The skills that the LSAT tests are complicated and difficult to learn. Whether it’s diagramming conditional statements, assembling the setup to a game, or knowing what to pay attention to in reading comp, this stuff ain’t easy. But what can make things even harder is when the LSAT buries these already-confusing concepts in perplexing linguistic phrasings.
Luckily, we’re here to help.
When you read something on the LSAT that you don’t understand, the worst thing you can possibly do is just move on, hoping the exam won’t ask about it; it will. Often times, understanding a confusing phrase just involves rereading it a few times and rolling it around in your head. But there are a few phrases that the LSAT uses again and again that students regularly get tripped up on. I’ve compiled a few for you here:

Make Your Worst Section Your Best Before the February LSAT
Today is January 9. The LSAT is on February 9. Unless you failed the third grade, you know that this means you have precisely one month until LSAT test day.
Ideally you’ve done a substantial amount of studying already, and your LSAT skills have been growing stronger by the day. But often people find that there’s one pesky section where things just aren’t clicking. Maybe you’re finding that you’re always missing a bunch of questions in Reading Comp, or you’re never able to finish Logical Reasoning, or perhaps you’re just not quite getting Logic Games. Well, whatever your weakest section may be, with practice you can turn it around this month and make it your strongest section by February LSAT test day.
