Blueprint LSAT Prep 2012 Spring Expansion I: Houston
Here are a couple things you may not know about the city of Houston, Texas:
It’s the largest city in the Lone Star State. Bigger than Austin. Bigger than El Paso. Even Bigger than Dallas. In fact, Houston is the fourth largest city in the United States. Bigger than Austin. Bigger than El Paso. Even Bigger than Dallas. (It feels like I’m repeating myself.)
Another interesting bit of trivia: Somehow, the fine folks of Space City have survived almost 200 years without getting their fill of Blueprint LSAT Preparation.
Starting this spring, that’s fixin’ to change.
Houston LSAT prep hopefuls at the University of Houston, Texas Southern University and Rice University, say hello to instructor Sam Huang and one of the best live LSAT prep courses in the world.

2 Days Left to Win a Free LSAT Course in Our Video Contest
If you’re reading this LSAT blog, it’s likely you’ve given up on the prospect of becoming a movie star. It’s cool. There’s nothing to be ashamed of. You’ve simply set your sights on a more realistic career.
But here at Blueprint, we know there’s a little Meryl Streep in each of you — even the dudes.
That’s why a few weeks ago we kicked off a video contest (which you can visit here) with the grand prize of a free Blueprint LSAT Prep course on the line. Second place wins a $400 voucher off a Blueprint LSAT course, and third place wins some sweet Blueprint SWAG. In our book, that’s better than winning an Oscar.
Unfortunately, the video contest ends in two days.

Video Contest to Win a Free LSAT Prep Course Ends March 15
LSAT.
Egg.
Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
That’s how easy it is to participate in Blueprint’s video contest and be entered to win a free LSAT prep course. Mention those three phrases in a vid, upload it and get everyone you know to vote for you. Winner becomes an LSAT ninja. For free.
Oh, and we’re also giving away a $400 voucher off a Blueprint LSAT Prep course to the second place winner, and a Blueprint shirt, keychain and letter of recognition to the third-place winner. Don’t those sound like egg-celent LSAT prizes, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor? (See? This is a piece of cake.)

Book Review: Busy Applicant’s Guide to Get into Law School
Another book review? You bet your ass another book review.
This time we’ve got Busy Applicant’s Guide to Get into Law School: Everything You Need in a Pocket-Sized Resource, which is available now for Kindle on Amazon. The book checks in at 133 pages and was written by former LSAT instructor Stephen Ilg and former Yale law career counselor Levi Weikel-Magden. It’s a breezy but informative read that, for anyone interested in a JD, would be an adequate next step in research after a few hours on Google.
Moreover, Get Into Law School would be an ideal read for a student who just completed his or her first year of college and was considering law school.

Book Review: The Law School Decision Game
It’s been a long time since we’ve done a book review on Most Strongly Supported. Too long, in fact.
So let’s get back on the wagon with a look at The Law School Decision Game: A Playbook for Prospective Lawyers, written by LawSchoolExpert.com head honcho and Most Strongly Supported pal Ann Levine, Esq. The book is a follow-up to her bestseller, The Law School Admissions Game, which got rave reviews.
The legal world today is treacherous, and Levine doesn’t shy away from being direct about it. In fact, Levine is blunt (and refreshingly so) about most of the information she presents in the book. Due to the inevitable debt and an unstable job market, Levine says as early as the introduction that entering law school is as risky as ever.

Three Brews to Try While Waiting for Your LSAT Score
You’ve managed to forego the urge to cancel your LSAT score. And now…you wait.
Caught in some sort of evil LSAT score limbo, you’re left with little to do but work on law school applications and twiddle your collective thumbs. It occurs to me that you could use something to do. And we wouldn’t want you to go and do something productive now would we? Absolutely not! And thus, here comes a list of fine craft beers that you can drink to pass the time while waiting for your LSAT score.
1. The Bruery Autumn Maple
If you’re somewhere besides California (and maybe even if you are), the weather’s starting to cool down, foliage is changing color and Christmas decorations are popping up way too early at your local Party Palace.

Blueprint LSAT Prep is expanding to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This spring, Blueprint bring its LSAT love to Philadelphia, PA home to the liberty bell, NFL teams that place second in the superbowl (it was a close game), and the world’s best sandwich, the cheesesteak.
The Blueprint Philadelphia LSAT class will be located in Houston Hall on the University of Pennsylvania campus, which makes it an easy commute for Upenn, Temple University, and Drexel students as well as denizens of the greater Philadelphia area.

The LSAT / Law School Admissions Waiting Game
What’s there to say about the month of February? Well, it’s the shortest month, it has Valentine’s Day, and it is Black History month. A few things you probably didn’t know about February: it’s National Bird-Feeding Month, National Wear Red Day, AND hopefully you are sitting down, because as you read this, I think you’ll be thrilled to know that our neighbors to the north are celebrating Canadian Flag Day.
Now, I suspect that you have two questions for me: First: “Is it lame if I don’t have any bird-feeding activities penciled in until March?” Second: “Is this a joke? You just managed to write the most useless, mundane, and insipid article introduction of all time. I’m calling Blueprint during normal business hours to see if there is anyway to reclaim those 15 seconds of my life.”

Should you keep or cancel your February LSAT score?
The February 2011 LSAT has come and gone. Hopefully it went splendidly, and you’re spending your time taking Champagne baths as you await your astronomically high score. If you fall into this category, then congratulations. We’re happy for you. But this post isn’t for you. This is for those who felt the February LSAT didn’t go very well, and who are spending their time taking long regular showers, while crying. This is for the people thinking about canceling their February 2011 LSAT score.
First, the facts. If you cancel your LSAT score, you’ll never know how you did. You maybe got 120, you maybe got a 180, but you’ll never know for sure. The good thing is that law schools will also never know how you fared on the February LSAT, either.

Logical Reasonings / 2.11.11
