Your Options Now that the October LSAT is Over

Arguably.
Nonetheless, it features a special bit of advice by the Irish-played-by-Morgan-Freeman character Red: “Get busy livin’, or get busy applyin’.”
Alright, so I took some dramatic license with that quote there. However, now that you’re done with your October LSAT, those are your two options. Let’s examine them.
1) Get busy livin’

October 2011 LSAT Instant Recap
And just like that, it’s over.
After months of studying, the October 2011 LSAT is in the books (for most of the country). Now all that’s left to do is celebrate — celebrate and discuss.
An early report from the East Coast indicates the exam was pretty par for the course. The games section, in particular, seems to have been pretty straightforward, though very difficult. (Who doesn’t like logic games, right?) Apparently, there was also a reading passage that a large number of students found particularly time-consuming.

Matt Riley’s October 2011 LSAT Predictions (With Parakeets!)
It’s time for another look into the crystal ball of logic. There’s an LSAT going down in roughly 48 hours. I have a bad habit of making predictions about impending LSAT administrations, so I figured I would give it another shot.
I have been making predictions for a couple years, with surprising accuracy. It all got really out of hand with what has been coined the “honeybee debacle.” In the middle of one of my old LSAT blog posts (one of my favorites, by the way), I made a joke about honeybees coming up during a Reading Comp passage. And then, right near the end of the third passage, what did we see? Freaking honeybees. Weird.
So here we go:

Should You Take the June or October LSAT?
If you want to apply to law schools this coming fall (2011) to enroll next fall (2012), then you probably haven’t taken the LSAT yet. If you’re a junior who wants to go to law school right after graduation, then you’re in this boat. If you’re reading this, and planning this far in advance, then you’re already a step ahead of most people. Congratulations, young grasshopper. But when to take the test? June, October, or December?
Technically you have four options, because you could take the February 2012 test and still apply for enrollment for Fall 11. But this really isn’t your best bet.
