- Why should I choose Blueprint: The Movie 2.0 over other live online courses?

- The main drawback to “live online courses” is that students who take them are tied to watching the lesson at a certain time from a certain place, thus negating the primary advantage of taking an online course (flexibility). Students can watch archived versions of the lessons but the video quality is typically quite low, resulting in a poor viewing experience. Blueprint: The Movie 2.0 addresses both of these issues. The videos are streamed in high definition and are available anywhere there is an internet connection, at any time. You’ll also have unlimited email support from veteran Blueprint instructors who will be able to help you clarify anything that you don’t understand, from homework questions to test day advice.

- Why should I choose Blueprint: The Movie 2.0 over other on demand courses?

- Blueprint: The Movie 2.0 uses the exact same curriculum and material from our 100 hour live course. Unlike other, on demand options, you do not get a condensed or watered-down version of the course. The online course features the same effective methodology as our live class, taught exclusively by the two founders of our company (Trent Teti and Matt Riley) who make the course easy to understand and enjoyable to watch.

- Does Blueprint sign me up for the LSAT?

- We wish we could, but that’s not allowed. You’ll need to register for the exam through LSAC’s website (www.lsac.org). Keep in mind that there is a $139 registration fee. If you have any questions about this fee or about signing up for the LSAT, you can contact LSAC at 215.968.1393.

- Am I able to extend access to Blueprint: The Movie and my online resources?

- But of course! We maintain all of our students' accounts, so you can have your account reactivated or extend your online access at any time by contacting the office. The cost to extend online access is $200 per test administration.
- Do I have access to instructors if I have questions?

- All Blueprint: The Movie 2.0 students are given unlimited access to a Study Buddy email account. This will put you in contact with one of our senior Blueprint instructors who will respond promptly to any questions you may have - from homework assistance to test day advice. You may also post questions on our discussion board, which is monitored by Blueprint instructors and application consultants.
- How much time should I be setting aside for the course?

- Blueprint: The Movie 2.0 is an 88 hour online course as it mirrors our live course. You should plan on devoting approximately four hours to each session. In addition, students should factor in one to two hours of independent study for every hour spent viewing the lesson videos. This equates to approximately four to eight hours of study per lesson. We realize this constitutes a great deal of work, but keep in mind that the LSAT is a difficult test! We strongly recommend that students set aside a great deal of time in order to properly prepare for the LSAT.
- What resources do I have in addition to the lesson videos?

- Your student page (also known as your MyBlueprint account) offers a number of great resources including practice exam scoring and breakdowns, video, audio, and PDF explanations for logic games, logical reasoning, and reading comprehension passages, as well as drills, quizzes, and links to helpful information about the LSAT and law school admissions.
- If I'm enrolled in the online course, can I also attend live class if I'm in a location where they are offered?

- Attending live lessons and exams is not included in the online course. We suggest online students proctor themselves under strict timing conditions in quiet, unfamiliar places with minor distractions. Libraries simulate test day conditions very well.
- Is there a discount if I want to retake the course?

- You may retake the course at any time for a reduced rate. The cost is $599 (plus the cost of shipping) with a new set of books and $400 if you use your old set. The Blueprint curriculum is frequently updated, so please check with the office to determine whether or not you will need a new set of books.
- Is there a way to preview the online course?

- There are sample videos on our website for students to watch. Students can also take a free tour of the online course, which will allow you to watch lesson chapters from Blueprint: The Movie 2.0.
- Are the results of online students comparable to those in the classroom course?

- We cannot conduct a score increase study of our online students because Blueprint: The Movie 2.0 is available for two administrations of the LSAT so we cannot track the first to highest practice exam score in the same way. However, the online course covers the same material as our classroom course and we have found that students who utilize the online course the way it’s intended (watch all of the lessons, finish all of the homework, view the homework explanations, and use Study Buddy for email help) see great results. Please see our online course success story pages to read about some of our student improvements.
- Can I just purchase the Blueprint prep books?

- We do not sell our textbooks separately. The most affordable way to procure a set of textbooks is to purchase Blueprint: The Movie 2.0 as a new student ($799) or as a retake student ($599).
