Ross
LSAT Score: 173
Education: University of California, Los Angeles, BA England and Political Science, University of Southern California, JD
Ross has a penchant for frustrating hobbies (he’s the author of thousands of failed tricks, missed waves, and unforced errors when skating, surfing, and playing tennis), so it’s perhaps no surprise that he was attracted to a frustrating test like the LSAT. Even after graduating from USC Law in 2013, he couldn’t escape the fierce grasp of this wily exam. So, Ross decided to start helping other people with the LSAT in 2014. Since then, he’s worked as an LSAT teacher and content creator. He’s led dozens of in-person and online courses, tutored hundreds of students, helped develop several LSAT courses, created hundreds of written and video LSAT explanations, written many articles about the exam for several outlets, and has hired, trained, and mentored dozens of other LSAT instructors. He’s been around this test for a long time. But he’s never become bored thinking about the test or helping his students achieve life-changing score increases. Although Ross enjoys the LSAT’s challenging nature, he knows that not everyone shares his enthusiasm for being humbled by a standardized test. So, Ross strives to create a comfortable and convivial learning environment in which asking questions and making mistakes are embraced as integral parts of the learning process. Ross also tries to meet every student on their level, demystifying the LSAT through a series of colorful, intuitive examples and analogies he’s built up over a decade in the field. After clarifying the test, Ross aims to show how his students already possess much of the reading and analytical skills needed for the LSAT — they just need a little nudge to apply these skills to the LSAT. Fun Fact: Not to date himself, but Ross once won a water bottle on the ‘90s Nickelodeon game show What Would You Do? See more

Chris
LSAT Score: 170
Education: Elizabethtown College, BS Mathematics
Let me take a first crack at a bio: Chris graduated from college with a degree in Actuarial Science. After working in the field for two months, Chris came to a very significant realization: He didn't like actuarial work... like, not at all. Several years later, Chris was teaching SAT classes when he was asked to proctor a practice LSAT. He took the practice exam along with the students, and—with a choir of angels singing in the background—he heeded the call of destiny. Chris has since spent over 20 years teaching the LSAT, studying the LSAT, writing LSAT explanations, creating LSAT content, dreaming about the LSAT, and driving his wife crazy with frequent discussions that start, "Hey -- something interesting happened while I was working on the LSAT today." He also credits the LSAT with adding to his stockpile of impractical knowledge. Yes, he knows more about Wynton Marsalis' unintended destruction of jazz music, non-PETA-approved studies regarding homing pigeons, and the not-so-prophetic nature of Picasso's cubist paintings than any one person needs to know. When not working on the LSAT, Chris enjoys reading, writing, and doing puzzles of all kinds (jigsaw, crossword, logic... they're all up for grabs!) Fun Facts: Chris has had his car break down on him on New Year's Eve on the New Jersey Turnpike, had a car's engine suddenly stop working in the middle of a drive, and had a wheel (the whole wheel—not just the tire) fall off the car... while he was driving... about 10 minutes after said car passed its state inspection. This is why Chris enjoys riding his bike whenever possible.See more

Beth
LSAT Score: 175
Education: University of Notre Dame, MSEd Secondary Education, University of Notre Dame, BA Political Science & Peace Studies
Beth graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 2019, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science and peace studies with a certificate in international security. During her time in undergrad, she spent a summer teaching English to under-resourced communities in Morocco, studied politics abroad at University of Oxford, New College, and developed curricula for tutoring elementary school students in reading and math skills. After graduation, she continued at Notre Dame to complete the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Master of Education program. Through ACE, she taught high school social studies and mathematics full-time at Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit High School. Her teaching excellence earned her the 2020 Dennis Beadles Outstanding Future Educator Award from the Indiana Council for the Social Studies. Before attending University of Virginia School of Law, Beth was a data engineer for Thrivent Financial. She found that the logic required in coding was beneficial in her LSAT studies. She is excited to both teach and tutor the LSAT and finds great joy in explaining difficult topics in an approachable manner. Beth believes in promoting a growth mindset and motivates her students to achieve their LSAT goals. Her former students and colleagues have praised her for her ability to make complex concepts understandable and for her supportive teaching style. Fun Facts: Beth is an avid dog lover and former foster who adopted two big foster dogs named Cheez-It (a Lab/Collie/Poodle/St Bernard) and Cookie (a Great Pyrenees/White German Shepherd). You can find her out walking them every morning, rain, snow, or shine. See more

Casey
LSAT Score: 176
Education: George Washington University, BA Journalism
Casey grew up in the Pacific Northwest, spent a few years away to attend college in D.C., and returned home for his career as a TV news reporter. He has a passion for breaking down complex concepts and making them easy to understand, and developed a reputation in the field for his unique in-depth explanatory videos and fact-checks. While working as a reporter, Casey noticed over and over that he especially enjoyed covering stories about the law. Eternally curious, he decided to try taking the LSAT. He found himself really enjoying studying for the test; it was a new avenue to explore his love for language and obsession with little details. With the help of Blueprint he was soon regularly scoring in the 170s on practice tests (and one much-coveted 180), and achieved his target score on the real test. He realized he could meld that achievement with his passion for explaining stuff, and linked up with Blueprint to help more people reach their goals. Casey is a persevering Mariners fan, a master of bar trivia, loves movies and TV shows, enjoys playing softball with his friends, and is critically addicted to Twitter and TikTok. Fun Facts: Casey maintains a detailed spreadsheet exploring his local food scene, having logged and rated more than 150 restaurants and food carts so far.See more

Bobby
LSAT Score: 176
Education: University of Toronto, JD, University of Alberta, BS Neuroscience
Bobby studied neurosciences at the University of Alberta in Edmonton before moving to Toronto to study law. A highly sought after teacher and tutor, Bobby has been helping students prepare for standardized tests of all kinds since 2005. But the LSAT has always had his heart and been his primary focus from the start. In fact, helping people realize their LSAT goals has been his life’s calling. Bringing vast expertise and deep strategic knowledge, he has taught over 10,000 students in the classroom and hundreds of tutoring students. Bobby firmly believes that as a skills-based test full of patterns, anyone with the right kind and amount of practice can raise their LSAT score significantly. As a Canadian, Bobby also firmly believes that all team sports should be played on ice. Fun facts: Bobby is a long time powerlifter and powerlifting coach. He loves to play video games, too, currently on his PS5 but started with the NES. He takes long walks in the woods with his dog, Piper, to relax.See more

Josh
LSAT Score: 180
Education: McGill University, JD, Oxford University, BA Philosophy, Politics, and Economics
Josh’s LSAT journey actually begin in high school, when he started studying for the University of Oxford’s admissions test, the Thinking Skills Assessment. After making his way through every practice test, he received a perfect score on the critical thinking section of that test, which is very similar to LR in the LSAT. He spent three years tutoring the TSA while finishing his undergrad at Oxford, which left him in good shape when he decided to write the LSAT. This allowed him to score a 180 on his first attempt. He enjoys helping students learn how to break complicated questions down into smaller, more approachable sections that can be understood quickly and efficiently. When not tutoring, Josh enjoys playing basketball and any other sport he can find. Fun Fact: Josh has captained both the University of Oxford and McGill varsity basketball teams.See more

Nicholas
LSAT Score: 178
Education: Boston College, BA Philosophy
Nick attended Boston College, studying Philosophy and receiving the Bapst Philosophy prize. Alongside the award he received the following advice: “Philosophy opens up two careers, Teaching or Law.” In a moment of insight, he decided to combine the two by teaching future lawyers! Nick has been a tutor since 2020, and joined Blueprint as an instructor and tutor in April, 2025. With a 178 on the LSAT, and experience as a science teacher, Nick knows what it takes to get difficult concepts to “click” for students. His time as a middle school teacher taught him how to tutor with empathy, patience, and a dash of humor. Nick is committed to helping students master the test and experience their own “click” moments on the path to becoming great lawyers. When not teaching, Nick enjoys reading with his two baby girls. Fun Fact: Out of an abundance of pandemic era stir-craziness, Nick and his father built an airplane in their garage in 2020.See more

Haaris
LSAT Score: 177
Education: University of Texas at Austin, BA Government, Stanford Law School, JD Candidate
Haaris grew up in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2022 and is a student at Stanford Law School. As a former Blueprint student and current law school student, Haaris knows what you’re going through and what is to come. He uses his background in coaching debate and mock trial to create gameplans for his students and cheer them on to success. When not studying or teaching, Haaris spends his time trying to pick up new hobbies, whether that be cooking new dishes, learning golf, or climbing a mountain – all of which have proved to be much harder than anticipated. After embarrassing himself plenty of times, Haaris has become a big believer of sticking with it. He loves bringing that same energy to his classes to motivate his students. Fun Fact: Born in Boston, Haaris is a diehard Celtics fan… even though he lived there less than a year and remembers none of it. Some call it delusion, but he likes to call it passion. The only group Haaris believes in more than the Celtics is his students.See more

Blueprint ultimately allowed me to have more options for law school. By increasing my LSAT score following my Blueprint course, I was able to expand my list of possible law school choices. My increased LSAT score following my Blueprint course was also very helpful with obtaining merit scholarship money.

To me, my LSAT score is a representation of how hard I am willing to work to make my dreams come true. I felt very defeated after my diagnostic score of 144 and through dedication and hard work I was able to go up 17 points. I know I have what it takes to get through law school and be an amazing lawyer, and I am thankful to Blueprint for helping me get started on this journey.

I attribute [my] score increase to the classes, which broke down concepts and made them easy to understand, to the recorded sessions, which helped me with specific problems I ran into, and most of all to the study plan and question bank, which caused me to spend countless hours answering and working through each kind of question.

My favorite thing about the instructors is that you could utilize all of them! You aren’t confined to one person. Some instructors explain things in a way that just clicks and having access to different ways of explanation was huge.

I chose Blueprint because of its flexibility. I knew that I would have to miss several classes due to an international trip in a different time zone, and in any other program that would have posed a problem. With Blueprint I was easily able to watch the recordings the next day and complete the homework at a pace that worked with my travel plans.

Before Blueprint, I attempted to self-study with a textbook for about a month. I believe the structure that Blueprint gave me really helped me in being able to absorb the information in an efficient way. I also think Blueprint worked better in delivering its material--the videos and explanations were all in-depth without being stale which helped keep me engaged.

I thought that the instructors were super personable, and I was truly excited to attend classes. On top of this, the coursework was informative and entertaining. I had Scott as my instructor, and he did a great job of communicating. If the class was ever confused, he always had a way of making the content simpler and more digestible.

I can not say enough good things about [my instructors]. They made sure that our class time was something to look forward to and not just them talking at us. Studying for the LSAT can feel overwhelming and lonely at times and they helped us form a community in our class, so we didn’t have to feel like that anymore.
