Thomas Dimmock
LSAT: 180
Education: Johns Hopkins University, M.S., Applied Economics; Davidson College, B.A., Economics and Math
Thom attended Davidson College, and later Johns Hopkins University, studying mathematics and applied economics. A true data wonk, Thom has worked in think tanks in D.C., analyzing statistics to write many technical public health papers. But the data Thom cares about most are his students’ LSAT scores. Thom has been an instructor and tutor at Blueprint since January 2019 (and an LSAT and GRE tutor since 2013), helping his students earn impressive score increases, whether working one-on-one or in many Live Online and D.C.-based in-person courses. In his classes, Thom likes to find creative ways to clarify complex LSAT topics, so his students can make quick, concrete progress on each section of the LSAT. During his off-hours, Thom is a budding amateur mixologist — even extracting his own bitters — a passion he developed after trying a transformative cocktail on vacation.
“I really love Thom as an instructor — he was patient, understanding, and always willing to answer any questions. He brought levity to the material which kept us laughing when it was hard or frustrating. It was fun to see him every Sunday, and I thought our class had a lively discussion each week.”
