MCAT® Sample Study Plan - 24 Hours
Please note: This sample MCAT exam tutoring plan is merely an example for a student looking for help on a wide cross-section of topics. Your personal MCAT prep plan will be constructed based on diagnostic practice test results and/or past test scores, your MCAT study needs, MCAT study schedule, and the expertise of our MCAT Advisors.
Is 24 hours of MCAT tutoring enough?
Many students can study for the MCAT exam in three months—the perfect amount of time to spread out 24 hours of MCAT prep tutoring. First-time MCAT students can use this time to develop effective test day strategies for the MCAT with their MCAT test prep tutor. Students prepping to retake the MCAT can work with their test prep tutor to focus on identifying areas that need improvement. It’s not enough to simply know the exam material. Without clear strategies for analyzing passages and answering practice questions, even the most knowledgeable MCAT test-takers won’t achieve top scores on their scheduled test date.
Below is a sample MCAT tutoring study plan for a student who completed the 24-hour tutoring plan over the course of 12 weeks, meeting once a week for two hours at a time, while completing homework assigned to them in the Blueprint MCAT Self-Paced Course. This sample tutoring study plan was unique to them and their needs, just as your MCAT tutoring plan will be to you!
