Top Scoring Instructors
We believe that in order to teach the MCAT, you have to have conquered the MCAT. All of our Primary instructors averaged in the 97th percentile on the MCAT, and none of our instructors scored below a 517.
We’re serious about scores - applications below our score cutoff make their way immediately to the no pile.
How We Get Them
We take applicants from all over North America and thoroughly vet them to see if they’ve got what it takes to teach the Blueprint MCAT course. Aspiring instructors go through a written application, a recorded video interview, and a live teaching demo lesson for a panel of MCAT experts. The vast majority don’t make it through the process, and only the best make it to our classrooms.
How We Train Them
Over more than 80 hours of training, instructors observe our course, learn our methods, and perfect their teaching. Our instructors are continuously observed and coached by our veteran MCAT Academic Manager, who makes sure all of our instructors remain in top shape.
We also offer continual development to our instructors through monthly instructor training to keep them up to date on the latest MCAT content and strategies.
