I was so nervous about my applications because I don’t have any doctors in my family who have gone through this process before and could guide me. Joe Larwa was so helpful to me in my primary and secondary applications, so much so that I’ve been accepted into multiple schools including my top pick. I felt so confident in my interviews with his help, and I felt like I really showed my best self in interviews and my essays. I was afraid that extra advising might not be a necessary expense in my application process, but it proved to be totally worth it.

Haya took over my tutoring package with only weeks to go before my MCAT test date, and in that time, she dedicated herself to adjusting my study plans and strategies, taking into account the compressed nature of my test timeline. During this period, I saw my score increase from 505 to 515 between my first practice AAMC and my real MCAT exam (499 diagnostic). I absolutely credit Haya with the education, organization, test-taking strategies, and advice that allowed me to do so.

The online resources, such as the videos, practice problems, and practice tests, were great, although the best part was the Zoom classes with Julia and Ganen. I found the course to be extremely helpful in preparing for the MCAT. I tried self-studying for a while, but I was failing to see a lot of improvement in my practice full-length tests, and I wanted to try something different. The course helped force me to stay on task and cover more topics in greater depth than I would have otherwise. Abbey and Sarrah were great, and they had lots of tips and tricks that proved useful during my studying and on my actual test. Big thank you to them for the help!

When I was self-studying before, I had no direction of what I should be studying and was just focused on content. It was really helpful to be guided and to have access to practice exams and questions to be familiarized with before taking the exam, as well as knowing your weaknesses and strengths. The instructors were very good in explaining the concepts to relatable terms that would be easier to understand and internalize compared to just reading it from a book or a video.

Beth has extensive knowledge on all MCAT subjects and has consistently been adaptable and very good at explaining complex concepts quickly and efficiently. I feel that she gave me all the recipes for sucess. Not only that Beth was available to answer small questions between classes and was able to explain quickly some mistakes I had done. With all this being said, Beth is also extremely kind, dedicated and I felt supported through the months I worked with her.
