My tutor, Nancy, was extremely helpful through my MCAT prep journey. Early on, she worked with me to carefully develop a study plan. Subsequently, we reviewed certain content, strengthening my knowledge base for the exam. The way she helped me examine my thought process on practice exams was one of the most beneficial aspects of my MCAT prep. I feel I really began to understand the structure of MCAT passages and questions, which lead to notable score increases as I worked through practice exams.

I purchased both the primary application and secondary application consulting packages, and I have no regrets. My consultant Rick was great and would review anything I sent him within 48 hours. I think the MCAT score is an extremely important aspect of any application, but I would not be going to medical school next year if it were not for Rick helping me develop a strong personal statement and creating professional responses to secondary application prompts.

Getting a tutor was one of the greatest decisions I made when preparing for the MCAT. I made the mistake (in my opinion) of starting my preparation for the MCAT about a year before my scheduled test day. This came with early burnout, pausing my preparation, and the constant anxiety of starting it back up. I started back up about four months before and as a result of my pausing, I was needing to be assigned a new tutor. I was lucky enough to get Erin Jacob. I cannot explain how awesome she is. I had a lot of hiccups in my studying and I owe her a great deal for helping me through them. I was able to improve my score from 493 to 514. Erin goes beyond expectations and is truly there for her students. She was encouraging after botched practice exams and always had a game plan on how to overcome my weak points. She is very intelligent and more than qualified to tutor. I promise that you'll think of yourself as lucky if you get the chance to work with her.
