William has been teaching and tutoring since 2015 and loves sharing his enthusiasm for learning with others. His favorite part of teaching is seeing that metaphorical light bulb when a student grasps a challenging topic. William was a student of Blueprint to study for his own MCAT and loved the experience so much that he wanted to apply his skills toward helping other premed students prepare for their big exam. He particularly enjoys teaching MCAT strategy and efficiency so that students are ready to tackle anything on test day. William knows that life can sometimes get in the way of studying goals. He lost several weeks of studying for the test due to a major surgery; however, with careful planning and using the tools provided by Blueprint, he was able to overcome this obstacle and get a 522 on test day (99th percentile). When he is not pursuing his passion for teaching William loves to snowboard, surf fish, backpack, play video and board games, and play soccer.See more
Kathryn found her passion for tutoring and education at Vanderbilt, where she instructedand mentored pre-medical students in organic chemistry and biology. She is passionate about tailoring her teaching styles to the needs of different students and making sure that no one is left behind. She also emphasizes the importance of creating a good work- life balance while studying for the MCAT, as she believes it can lead to success on the test itself and throughout the rest of a student’s career. Currently, Kathryn is a medical student at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Although she is undecided on specialty as of now, she intends to pursue a career in oncology. In her free time, Kathryn can be found running on the lakefront trail, cooking, or exploring one of the many new Chicago restaurants!See more

Abbey believes the key to success on the MCAT is confidence, and builds a positive and collaborative classroom environment. She loves to break down complex concepts and passages in ways that are approachable, equipping students with strategies to do the same on test day. To her, the best part of teaching is seeing the growth in her students, both in their knowledge and in their mindset. Abbey served as an associate instructor in Organic and Inorganic Chemistry before joining Blueprint as an instructor and tutor in 2022. This summer, she is working on an exciting research project that looks at patient outcomes after airway surgery. Abbey emphasizes the importance of having fun outside of the classroom, and practices what she preaches; she is currently training for her fourth marathon, working her way through her baking Pinterest board, and developing her film photography skills. Logan believes that a healthy work-life balance sets the stage for success on the MCAT— and for all future endeavors too. As a Pre-Med Mentor at Tufts, he developed a passion for helping peers maintain wellness while pursuing challenging goals. He built upon this passion as a Chemistry Teaching Assistant, leading an organic chemistry lab and teaching a recitation on thermodynamics. He finds it most meaningful to see a class of students grow together through collaboration, lifting each other up so that no one is left behind. Logan earned a perfect 132 on the Biology and Psychology/Sociology sections of the MCAT, which was made possible through consistent preparation and creative problem-solving skills. Logan currently serves as Feinberg’s MS2 Class President, and he conducts research in cancer pain management, pediatric cardiology, and postpartum depression. He emphasizes the importance of living in the moment and finds enjoyment through rowing, improv, and cooking elaborate meals.See more

Evan began his teaching journey in 2020 as a tutor in genetics, organic chemistry, and biology while he was an undergraduate at the University of Kansas. After Evan took the MCAT in March 2021, he took all he learned from his experiences and joined Blueprint's team, where he has been teaching and tutoring the MCAT ever since. For Evan, tutoring and teaching are about unlocking the potential that students already possess within themselves. With a special emphasis on strategy and practice, Evan understands that the MCAT is a solvable puzzle in which students combine their scientific knowledge, logic, and critical-reading skills to demonstrate to medical school admissions committees their readiness to become physicians. Evan particularly enjoys showing students how even the most intimidating MCAT questions can be broken down into simpler steps, and can therefore be much more straightforward than they seemed at first glance. Outside of tutoring, Evan spent time working as a medical scribe, volunteering as an interpreter for Spanish-speaking patients, residing over the University of Kansas' Peer Health Education program, and working in systems neuroscience research. An avid sports fan, Evan loves the Kansas City Chiefs, but also enjoys spending time reading books about science fiction, fantasy, and science.See more
For Hanna, teaching is more than just learning content and testing strategies but rather an opportunity to uncover a student's strengths and develop successful and useful skills that go beyond the MCAT. She most enjoys when students personalize their learning to incorporate different aspects of their lives. Currently, Hanna works as a research assistant in the neurosciences department at the UCSD School of Medicine and serves as the Chapter President of the national pre-medical organization Phi Delta Epsilon. In her free time, Hanna likes to puzzle, go to farmers markets, and read.See more

Since embarking on his teaching journey in 2022, Ganen has found a deep sense of fulfillment in guiding peers through the challenging subjects like Organic Chemistry II and in volunteering with local high schoolers in West Philadelphia. There is something incredibly rewarding about watching a concept click for a student who previously struggled with it. This transformation from uncertainty to confidence, is what fuels his passion for teaching. Ganen's personal academic journey is marked by achieving perfect scores of 132 in both the Chemistry/Physics and Psychology/Sociology sections of the MCAT while balancing a full course load. These scores are a testament to the power of strategic studying, proving that with the right approach, the MCAT does not have to be daunting. Ganen is currently looking forward to starting medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in the fall of 2024. In his spare time, Ganen finds joy and relaxation in baking, watching/playing basketball (avid Oklahoma City Thunder fan!), and weightlifting.See more

Luke began tutoring students in biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, and genetics as well lecturing for an undergraduate course at Baylor in 2021. He knows the MCAT is a puzzle to be solved and views it as an opportunity for students to show off the knowledge and skills that they develop during prep! To Luke, teaching the MCAT is about much more than explaining content; he knows that empowering students with confidence and equipping them with specific strategies is the key to student success. Having studied for the exam while taking a full course load and working a part-time job, Luke knows that every second of studying counts. Luke achieved a perfect 132 on the Chem/Phys section of the MCAT and enjoys breaking down even the most daunting of passages into easily digestible snippets. He loves to bring laughter, enthusiasm, and encouragement to all of his MCAT teaching sessions. In his spare time, you can usually find Luke on the pickleball court or cooking with his wife.See more
As a former Blueprint student, Muriel has seen firsthand how Blueprint’s distinctive approach to the MCAT can transform one's journey. For Muriel, success on the MCAT hinges not only on content knowledge and practice exams but also on mindset and confidence. Muriel excels at drawing connections between MCAT topics and real-world situations to help solidify content knowledge. Through her enthusiastic and uplifting teaching style, Muriel instills confidence in her students, reminding them that MCAT preparation should be motivating and empowering rather than overwhelming and defeating. Muriel achieved a perfect 132 on the CARS section of the MCAT and is passionate about helping students methodically identify correct answers within passages. Hellen has been teaching and tutoring since 2018. Working with students from varying backgrounds, ages, and experiences, she knows that there is no single “right” way to think or learn. The MCAT is an intimidating experience for many people and the months leading up to it can be overwhelming and stressful, but it doesn't have to be. Studying for the MCAT after taking several gap years and while working a full-time job, she believes that the key to successful test preparation is finding balance. With so many accessible resources, blogs, and recommendations it's easy to spread yourself thin, wasting precious time and mental bandwidth on ineffective prep strategies. To Hellen, it’s not just about the hours spent studying but also managing your schedule, taking care of your physical health, and maintaining your mental well-being. Using a balanced approach, Hellen scored a perfect 132 on the Psych/Soc section and is passionate about helping students understand their unique learning style to curate effective study plans and reach their goals. In her spare time, she can be found traveling to new cities, developing her coffee-making skills, or tackling a new fitness challenge. See more
For Kate, the MCAT is just another step along the path to becoming a physician, and the best method for preparation for the MCAT is developing critical thinking skills and confidence in test taking. The skills and knowledge gained through the process of preparation for the MCAT will help students succeed in medical school and their future careers. Kate got a perfect 132 on the Bio/Biochem and CARS sections of the MCAT and believes she obtained this score not through memorization but a strong foundation of problem solving skills. Kate has 3 years of tutoring experience in chemistry and physics at Boston College and enjoys helping students learn the context behind problems. Currently, Kate is a senior at Boston College, participating in her collegiate ambulance organization as the Director of Education and working as an undergraduate research assistant. In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time with her friends and her Great Dane.See more

Trevor has been teaching the MCAT since 2020 and believes that tutoring not only serves the purpose of helping students better understand difficult material, but also provides them with the opportunity to discover how they learn best. He most enjoys being a part of those breakthrough moments when a certain learning approach just seems to click and previously difficult material begins to be understood with ease. Prior to becoming a tutor, Trevor worked as a clinical EMT in the MedSurg/ICU department of a critical access hospital and enjoys spending his free time either grilling, snowboarding, or competitively powerlifting. Angel has always had a passion for breaking down the most complex of terms and concepts into fun, simple, and digestible forms. She started teaching/tutoring in 2017, helping her classmates/friends in her anatomy/physiology and microbiology courses to memorize and understand the extensive, often overwhelming, information. Her aim is always to make the most effective, though often comical, connections between the subject matter and something guaranteed not to leave your head. Angel spent about 4 months studying for the MCAT while a full-time student. Also working in two neuroscience research labs and testing during her finals week, she learned the importance of balancing her schedule and using intensive school and academia to her advantage by passively relating her daily experiences to MCAT fundamentals to build deeper connections. From her initial diagnostic exam, Angel had a 20+-point increase. When it comes to the MCAT, her motto is “nothing is ever too hard, and everything is interconnected.” Angel especially enjoys the puzzle analogy for the MCAT, looking at every question and concept as fitting in with another. Outside of teaching, Angel is now a full-time medical student at Harvard Medical School and MIT (Health, Sciences, and Technology MD Track) and a part-time neuroscience fanatic. A self-care aficionado, Angel spends her free time doing yoga and Pilates, most often while doing a face mask (sometimes while reciting random neuroscience facts). See more
Mediha has been a supplemental instructor and tutor for the college sciences since 2021. Mediha values getting to understand the needs, interests and preferred learning styles of her students. Having gone through the process, she believes the key to score growth is intentional reflection on strategy implementation and content knowledge gaps. When internalized, this naturally leads to a growth mindset. Her favorite moments are when memorized facts transform into deeper, 'aha,' conceptual understandings for a student. As a Knowles Teaching Fellow, Mediha spends her weekdays as a high school science teacher. In her spare time, Mediha enjoys walks in nature, vlogging, and teaching her cat, Pinki, tricks. See more
