Evan has had several teaching and tutoring experiences in his time at the University of Kansas. Beginning in August 2020 he tutored students in genetics, organic chemistry, and biology. He has also been involved in peer education efforts involving health and well-being topics. For Evan, tutoring and teaching are fantastic ways to help promising students to reach their potentials. With a special emphasis on strategy and practice, Evan understands that the MCAT is a solvable puzzle in which students combine their scientific knowledge, logic, and critical reading skills to demonstrate to medical school admissions committees their readiness to become physicians. Outside of tutoring, Evan is an avid sports fan, video game enthusiast, dog-lover, engaged community member and advocate, and a mediocre chess player (thanks to Queen’s Gambit).See more
Morgan is passionate about helping students build their confidence and develop effective and long- lasting study habits. She began her academic journey by earning a chemistry degree and joining the U.S. Air Force. After working as a chemist for 7 years, she decided to pursue medical school and started on the premed path. She took the MCAT twice and utilized effective test preparation methods to increase her score by 10 points. As a non-traditional student, she studied for the MCAT while working a full-time job and while being a mother to a rambunctious toddler. She believes that with the right plan and support system, everyone is capable of preparing for the MCAT and reaching their goal score. In her free time, she likes to read, exercise, spend time outdoors, and play with her son and two dogs.See more

Ian has a diversity of teaching and work experiences he draws on to keep learning engaging. He easily relates with students from a variety of backgrounds and especially empathizes with students who discovered their calling a bit later in life. He currently works full-time and volunteers as the Board Chair of a local non-profit focused on food insecurity and environment. He knows other MCAT students are just as busy as he was, and really enjoys discussing MCAT test-taking strategies that work for time-pressed students who maybe at first aren’t too familiar with MCAT tested content, or for those that haven’t applied it in a while. He understands it can be a struggle to keep balance while preparing for a stellar MCAT performance. He has plenty of cautionary tales from his own experience and enjoys pointing out the pitfalls he fell into so others can learn to avoid the mistakes he made, while hopefully getting a chuckle. He balances these stories of what not to do, with strategies and tips that worked best for him on his own MCAT journey to a 100th percentile score (525). He particularly likes sharing strategies he used to ace the notorious CARS section with a 132. In his free time, he enjoys binging on tv shows and finding new hiking trails where he and his wife try to keep up with their dog.See more
Cynthia loves teaching- she spent seven semesters of her undergraduate education working as a teaching assistant for psychology and cell biology. She enjoys connecting with students and helping them set and achieve ambitious goals. Luke began tutoring students in biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, and genetics as well lecturing for an undergraduate course at Baylor in 2021. He knows the MCAT is a puzzle to be solved and views it as an opportunity for students to show off the knowledge and skills that they develop during prep! To Luke, teaching the MCAT is about much more than explaining content; he knows that empowering students with confidence and equipping them with specific strategies is the key to student success. Having studied for the exam while taking a full course load and working a part-time job, Luke knows that every second of studying counts. Luke achieved a perfect 132 on the Chem/Phys section of the MCAT and enjoys breaking down even the most daunting of passages into easily digestible snippets. Luke volunteers at a local clinic and also serves as a classroom leader with 3-year-olds at his local church. He loves to bring laughter, enthusiasm, and encouragement to all of his MCAT teaching sessions. In his spare time, you can usually find Luke on the pickleball court or cooking with his wife!See more
Mina has been involved in instructorship since 2018 across multiple levels ranging from theology in Sunday school to the sciences at Rutgers Learning Centers. Mina loves tutoring and teaching as he can facilitate students not only to learn the material but also to learn how to study independently, setting them up for future success in medical school and beyond. For Mina, watching his students succeed and overcome seemingly impossible hurdles drives him to excel and provide the best for his students. Mina scored a perfect 132 on the Bio/Biochem section and wholeheartedly believes in assimilating advanced test-taking strategies with content knowledge to succeed on all sections of the MCAT. He also volunteers his IT and technical abilities at Agape Community Services, a nonprofit organization, and is entering the first year of his Ph.D. program in pharmaceutical sciences. Mina is looking forward to studying clinical pharmacology and furthering the research field of computational pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics at the University at Buffalo. In his spare time, Mina enjoys dabbling in board games, reading, piano, programming, and sketching.See more

Mediha has been a supplemental instructor and tutor for the college sciences since 2021. Mediha values getting to understand the needs, interests and preferred learning styles of her students. Having gone through the process, she believes the key to score growth is intentional reflection on strategy implementation and content knowledge gaps. When internalized, this naturally leads to a growth mindset. Her favorite moments are when memorized facts transform into deeper, 'aha,' conceptual understandings for a student. As a Knowles Teaching Fellow, Mediha spends her weekdays as a high school science teacher. In her spare time, Mediha enjoys walks in nature, vlogging, and teaching her cat, Pinki, tricks. See more

Avery has been peer tutoring since 2019. For Avery, education has always been about quality over quantity. They are a big advocate for healthy study habits and living a fulfilling life. Maintaining a full-time job, attending concerts, and going on thrift hauls were pivotal parts of Avery’s MCAT journey. With a score of 131 in 3 out of 4 sections of the test… it seems to have worked out pretty well for them. Avery loves talking shop about new and creative ways to master content and is always brimming with psychological theories to back it up. Taking a class with Avery is like spending time with a good friend; they have a strong belief in the role of community in success and try to foster that in their classes. Avery Is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine in Ontario. When they aren't studying, you can find Avery on mental health walks, performing drag, or tending to their garden.See more
Amelia has been tutoring since 2021. She loves helping students find joy in learning about science and the natural world. She got a perfect 132 on the Psyc/Soc section and believes that leveraging curiosity is the best way to learn. Amelia graduated from USC with honors in research and writing and 14 named scholarships. She works at the NIH researching HIV vaccines. She’s also an avid fan of Doctor Who and all things sci-fi, and has a passion for running, playing acoustic guitar, and inventing new recipes (with historically mixed results). She hopes to start medical school in 2025.See more

Jackie has been peer tutoring since 2007. As someone who has experienced learning at four different elementary schools, they believe that education is the key to equity. Their favorite part of teaching is the "lightbulb" moment when a new approach finally makes things make sense. They strongly believe that test-taking is a skill that can be mastered and that maintenance of mental health while prepping for exams like the MCAT is of utmost importance. As a non-traditional student who took the MCAT over a decade after they had completed prerequisites and who studied while working full-time, they received a perfect score on the Bio/Biochem section. In their spare time, they love making friends with neighborhood animals, building mechanical keyboards, visiting local farmers' markets and playing pickleball. See more
Angel has always had a passion for breaking down the most complex of terms and concepts into simple and digestible forms. Her first introduction to teaching was in 2017, her junior year of high school, helping her classmates and friends in her college level anatomy/physiology and microbiology courses to memorize and understand the extensive, often overwhelming, information. Her approach has always been to relate the topic to something the person was interested in or passionate about that didn’t directly pertain to the subject of study. Into her undergraduate studies, she continued her freelance tutoring in her neuroscience classes, always aiming to make the most effective, though often comical, connections between the subject matter and something guaranteed not to leave your head. Angel spent about 4.5 months studying for the MCAT. These 4.5 months spanned the spring semester of her junior year in college. While also working in two neuroscience research labs, she learned the importance of balancing her schedule and using her daily life of intensive school and academia to her advantage, ensuring that even while she wasn’t actively studying, she was passively relating her daily experiences to MCAT fundamentals to build deeper connections. From her initial diagnostic exam, Angel had a 5-point increase in every section of the MCAT. When it comes to the MCAT, her motto is “nothing is ever too hard, and everything is interconnected.” Angel especially enjoys the puzzle analogy for the MCAT, looking at every question as fitting in with another. Outside of teaching, Angel is an extensive neuroscience researcher, working as a research technician in a pediatric neurosurgery lab, a volunteer crisis counselor, and a neuroscience enthusiast (frequently volunteering in retirement homes and explaining concepts of memory to elderly people). A self-care aficionado, Angel spends her free time doing yoga and Pilates, most often while doing a face mask."See more

As a student who faced challenges when preparing to take the MCAT, Bilal understands the mental struggles that come with taking the MCAT beyond the content knowledge. The MCAT is a high-pressure exam and test anxiety is real. Bilal loves to provide the confidence and reassurance for his students to work through that anxiety to reach their true potential. Having tutored undergraduate chemistry and biology since 2020, he has experience working with a variety of students and learning styles. Bilal scored a perfect 132 on the Psych/Soc section of the MCAT, and believes that everyone has the potential to achieve similar success. While the content is the most intimidating aspect of the MCAT, proper strategies and test-taking tips are almost nearly as important in being able to crack the MCAT. Watching students work through problems and have those ""lightbulb"" moments are the highlights of his time spent teaching. He hopes to experience those moments with all the students he works with! Currently, Bilal works as a healthcare consultant at a healthcare consulting firm in Los Angeles. When not working, Bilal loves to surf the waves, play beach volleyball, hit the gym, or play chess (despite being not the greatest at it)."See more
Kathryn found her passion for tutoring and education at Vanderbilt, where she instructedand mentored pre-medical students in organic chemistry and biology. She is passionate about tailoring her teaching styles to the needs of different students and making sure that no one is left behind. She also emphasizes the importance of creating a good work- life balance while studying for the MCAT, as she believes it can lead to success on the test itself and throughout the rest of a student’s career. Currently, Kathryn is a medical student at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Although she is undecided on specialty as of now, she intends to pursue a career in oncology. In her free time, Kathryn can be found running on the lakefront trail, cooking, or exploring one of the many new Chicago restaurants!See more

Abbey believes the key to success on the MCAT is confidence, and builds a positive and collaborative classroom environment. She loves to break down complex concepts and passages in ways that are approachable, equipping students with strategies to do the same on test day. To her, the best part of teaching is seeing the growth in her students, both in their knowledge and in their mindset. Abbey served as an associate instructor in Organic and Inorganic Chemistry before joining Blueprint as an instructor and tutor in 2022. Outside the classroom, Abbey has studied antimicrobial resistance in an infectious disease lab and worked as a patient care technician in a medical-surgical unit. She is currently training for her third marathon, dabbling in sourdough baking, and traveling as much as possible before matriculating at Feinberg School of Medicine in August 2023. See more
Sarrah has a long history in education, from tutoring math in high school to being a TA in human biology and computer science courses at Stanford. Her teaching philosophy centers on finding what works for each student’s learning style. As someone who studied for the MCAT in just two months, she knows the importance of efficient studying by finding the techniques that best suit each individual. After all, that was how she was able to score a 131 in both the Chem/Phys and Psyc/Soc sections! Sarrah is originally from LA and recently moved to Rochester, New York where she is slowly adjusting to the cold. She is currently working as a clinical research coordinator at the University of Rochester. Her interests in medicine lie in public and community health, especially women’s health. When she is not working, Sarrah can be found playing Bananagrams, perusing the aisles of Trader Joe’s, doing the NYT crossword, or attempting a recipe from the Great British Baking Show.See more
