Jacob studied Finance and Entrepreneurship at the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 2019 and returning home to the warmer climate in Arkansas. Working in Corporate Treasury by day and binging Suits by night, Jacob finally decided to give the LSAT a try after testifying in a fascinating work-related deposition. He quickly fell in love with the concepts while self-studying his way to a 175 on the October 2021 digital exam. Now, after several months as a freelance tutor, Jacob is thrilled to join the Blueprint team! A prolific arguer on all topics, Jacob especially loves to teach common fallacies and formal logic. He also enjoys closely dissecting answer choices in each section, with an emphasis on understanding common patterns of tempting incorrect answers. When not thinking about the LSAT or working, Jacob is probably dominating the Chess board or embarrassing himself on the basketball court. Fun Fact: Jacob represented Arkansas at the 2011 Scripps National Spelling Bee and has served as a pronouncer and judge for many local and regional spelling bees over the years.See more
Claudia graduated from UNC - Chapel Hill summa cum laude with a major in Human Rights and minors in Business Administration and Global Cinema. In college, she led the school's student-led honor system, interned at nonprofits, and made frequent trips down to the Dean Dome for basketball games. As someone who loves to write, she also has worked since 2017 with many college-bound students to help them refine essays and get into their dream schools. After taking the LSAT, she realized she could combine her love for helping people meet their goals in education with her fascination for the test. As a game show aficionado, Claudia sees the LSAT as its own game and is excited to teach her students how to win big! That being said, her style couldn't be farther from the host of The Weakest Link. She approaches tutoring sessions calmly and with a smile, ready to encourage and cheer on her students. Fun Fact: Claudia is a huge foodie who spends hours reading restaurant reviews and scouring Yelp photos, trying to find great spots to eat. She also is willing to go to great lengths for superb food, which is how she wound up lost in Naples, Italy as she tried tracking down the best pizza.See more

Upon graduating from college, Gerry decided that spending his time avoiding growing up was far more desirable than any other option. After working as a touring musician, he then decided to spend time with people of a similar maturity level and became an elementary school teacher. One day, on a casual bike ride (from San Francisco to Los Angeles), Gerry decided that taking the LSAT sounded like a fun idea. He scored a 173, and soon joined Blueprint’s team of instructors and tutors. Gerry’s time teaching elementary school children and touring with temperamental musicians instilled a lot of patience in Gerry, making Gerry's teaching style laid back and empathetic. He enjoys incorporating anecdotes to help his students stay entertained and more vividly remember LSAT concepts. Gerry graduated from Northwestern Law cum laude in 2018 and has worked in commercial litigation. Gerry now splits his time teaching the LSAT, recording music, and taking the occasionally epiphanic bike ride through L.A. Fun Facts: Substituting quality for quantity, Gerry has learned to "fake it pretty well" on over 10 instruments and has performed with musicians ranging from Willie Nelson to Howie D (the guy from the Backstreet Boys with a ponytail).See more
Sonam is a student at The Ohio State University studying Economics and Environmental Studies. She loves working with students, having worked as a tutor since high school and continuing as an economics tutor at Ohio State. Sonam loves the LSAT, especially the Analytical Reasoning (logic games) section. As someone who enjoys puzzles of all types, she loves to think about the different LSAT sections as puzzles to solve. She currently volunteers with a community garden organization and other student-run philanthropies at Ohio State. For fun, Sonam loves to go on walks, try new restaurants with her friends, crochet, and read! Fun Facts: Sonam has not broken any bones, except for her skull, which she broke in a luging accident in Canada. Fortunately, her skull fracture did not impact her ability to teach the LSAT. See more

Raana was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, but betrayed her Nor Cal roots to move to sunny Santa Barbara for her undergraduate degree. A fourth year Mock Trial competitor on UC Santa Barbara’s highly-ranked team, Raana first discovered her love for teaching through tutoring her team’s “newbies” on the basics of Mock Trial. Raana also works as a legal assistant and is currently completing a women’s history thesis. A true LSAT nerd, Raana loves the LSAT because it’s like a puzzle whose mastery can open so many doors for students. Raana’s teaching philosophy centralizes humor, breaking down complex problems into manageable pieces, and empathetically addressing students’ concerns. Fun Facts: In her free time, Raana likes watching Love Island, weightlifting, or reading (in that order of enjoyment). See more
Felipe joined Blueprint LSAT as an instructor and tutor in 2019. Now, Felipe works as a day trader, math curriculum consultant, and LSAT instructor. He studied mathematics at Florida International University, and went on to work as the director of a math learning center that specializes in designing custom learning plans for students of all ages. It was there that Felipe discovered his passion for test prep, helping students prepare for tests like the GMAT, GRE, SAT, ACT, ASVAB and many more. Somewhere in the course of his long teaching career Felipe discovered that he absolutely LOVED to teach two tests in particular: the GMAT and the LSAT. He scored a 177 on his LSAT, and a 780 on his GMAT (earning a perfect score on the quantitative section, and a 99th-percentile score on the verbal section). Teaching the LSAT, Felipe helps his students develop strong, consistent strategies for each question type they'll encounter, and delivers his instruction in a way that makes sense to them. When he isn't working, Felipe spends his free time playing chess, watching movies, and arguing about sports. Fun Facts: After moving to the States as a child, Felipe learned to speak English in about two weeks, mostly from watching The Simpsons. As you could imagine, this got him in some hot water with his elementary school teachers.See more

Farzin attended the University of Texas at Austin, studying economics, and now attends Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where he is working on his law degree. Towards the end of his time during college, Farzin learned that he loved teaching, so he worked as a standardized testing instructor and tutor during his time between college and law school. Now, Farzin is excited to teach the LSAT at Blueprint and hopes to help his students increase their LSAT scores. In law school, Farzin has enjoyed his classes, does research for a professor, and is involved with a law journal on campus. Outside of school, Farzin is passionate about the Texas Longhorns football team, the Dallas Cowboys, and playing fantasy football. Fun Facts: Farzin was born in Iran and moved to the United States when he was eight-years old.See more
Amanda grew up in Southern California before moving to New York to attend NYU, where she double majored in journalism and English, with a minor in politics. Fluent in Swedish and currently learning German, she loves learning languages and found that approaching the LSAT like a new language to decipher and master reframed studying as a fun challenge. As a Blueprint alum and aspiring law student, Amanda is excited to join the Blueprint team. She aims to help students decode the exam and discover the study approach that works best for them. In her free time, Amanda enjoys writing poetry, traveling to try new restaurants, and collecting rare books. Fun Facts: True to her soccer and track & field background, Amanda loves long-distance running. She’s just begun training to run a marathon in Stockholm next summer, which she fears may prove to be an even more difficult mental game than studying for the LSAT.See more

Emma grew up on the plains of Kansas before moving to the comparatively cosmopolitan outskirts of Boston. She now attends Oklahoma Baptist University where she’s a senior double majoring in political science and Spanish. In her free time on campus, she helps lead the school’s debate team and Oklahoma’s state collegiate moot court competition. Last summer Emma set her sights on the LSAT and self-studied to a 180 on test day. Her new goal is to bring that same dedication to the classroom while helping others learn the LSAT and improve their scores. Emma has come to love the LSAT’s special brand of complexity and solvability - especially questions requiring formal logic. On a normal night you can find her working out the deeply thought-provoking question of what to cook for dinner. A new ramen recipe? Tofu tacos? Or her all-time favorite: chili? Fun fact: As you might have guessed from her Spanish major, Emma loves learning languages! Besides her native English, she speaks fluent Spanish and basic conversational Portuguese. Lately she’s been thinking about picking up Vietnamese as well. If you ever need someone to nerd out about linguistics with, she’s your girl!See more
When we say that Jason thoroughly understands the LSAT, we're not kidding. In addition to scoring a 176 and teaching LSAT prep since 2004, Jason studied psychometrics (that's the study of standardized tests) and quantitative research methods as part of his doctorate at UT Austin. He even wrote his dissertation on "flipping" an LSAT course. He's taught dozens of courses to hundreds of students in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Provo (UT), Austin, Houston, Ann Arbor (MI), St. Louis, New York City, and online. Jason loves teaching, and uses everything from classic 80's movie references to slightly mangled hip hop lyrics to help his students conquer the LSAT. Jason, his wife, and three daughters live in St. Louis, where he builds up the engineering faculty at Washington University in St. Louis by day and breaks down LSAT arguments by night. He's always up for a good conversation about film, books, gaming, politics, or the NBA, and firmly believes that the LSAT is one of the most learnable standardized tests in use. Fun Facts: As an Air Force brat growing up, Jason attended 11 different schools and lived in 14 houses before graduating from high school. Jason has lived in Utah (twice), Texas (three times), California, England, Germany (twice), Wyoming, Oregon, Michigan, and Missouri, and speaks German fluently and Spanish conversationally.See more

Dee grew up in the desert of Southern California before heading across the country to upstate New York where she attended Cornell University (and discovered her aversion to the snow). She majored in Industrial and Labor Relations. Even after 3 years studying it, she still has a difficult time explaining exactly what her niche major is. In college, Dee spent her breaks interning for non-profits in India and Taiwan and for Legal Aid in NYC as a criminal investigator. She also volunteered with the Cornell Prison Education Program co-teaching and tutoring incarcerated students in various college-level courses, including economics, law, and English. She recently worked as a labor representative for a public sector union in Seattle. Dee has taken the LSAT twice, jumping 10 points from her first test to a 175 on her second test. She understands what you’re going through and how to improve with effective studying habits, lots of practice, and dedication. In her spare time, you’ll find her tending to her 30+ houseplants, taking on ambitious DIY home improvement projects, and hanging out with her dog Blu. Fun Facts: Dee has crowd surfed at Coachella, jumped out of a plane (with a parachute), and driven across the country in under 40 hours.See more
Yasmine recently graduated from Cornell University in May of 2022, having transferred there after attending UC Berkeley for her first two years of undergraduate. Currently applying to law school, Yasmine has always been passionate about pursuing human rights law and spent her college career as the chair of various women’s safety committees and as a research assistant for a women’s rights expert and Berkeley Law professor. Yasmine is also a dancer and violinist whose spare time consists of reading Jane Eyre with her feet in the pool, or blasting all 10 minutes of “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version).” Yasmine knows exactly what it’s like to be an LSAT student today, and she knows how learnable the exam truly is. Having used Blueprint Prep to study for her June of 2021 LSAT, she is super excited to come back and pay forward her experience now as a tutor! From first diagnostic exam nerves to score release date success, she remembers exactly what it was like and teaches with empathy and a focus on instilling confidence in her students. She’s honored to be on this journey with you, every step of the way. Fun Facts: Though she was born and raised in LA, Yasmine fell in love with the whimsical nature of upstate New York during college. Not only did she finally see real snow for the first time, but she indulged in the delights of Apple Fest, attended late night dances in abandoned barns, and learned to sail!See more

Navya is an aspiring law student and current indecisive undergraduate pursuing an interdisciplinary degree that lets her investigate the arts, the sciences, and the niche interests that tickle her fancy. Her current fascination is the idea of utopia and human progress (both individual and global). When not attending lectures or writing papers, Navya embraces her inner grandmother: her favorite pastimes are knitting, doing jigsaw puzzles, and cooking enough food to feed an army. The oldest of three, Navya's first students were her younger siblings. Since then, she's taught and tutored people of all ages and abilities — including coaching herself to a 176 on the August 2021 LSAT. She came back to teach because she found herself missing the test (she's particularly fond of Logic Games). As Blueprint's first Canadian hire, Navya's love for the LSAT truly transcends borders. She's excited to be helping you on your journey! Fun Facts: Navya has MANY opinions about classic literature. However, odds are she hasn't actually read the book she's currently going on about. (Unless it's Jane Austen or L. M. Montgomery, in which case she definitely has.)See more

Spencer grew up among the concrete playgrounds of New York City, before retreating to the comparatively bucolic idylls of Western Massachusetts at Amherst College, where he studied philosophy. After a stint as a middle school science teacher back in N.Y. (and yes, he did light things on fire with the kids), Spencer made his way westward, to pursue a Ph.D. in English at UCLA. Spencer has taught over 40 in-person and Live Online courses for Blueprint since 2012, helping literally thousands of pre-law students improve their LSAT scores. Fun Facts: Spencer has seen Bruce Springsteen live more than 30 times. In fact, some people might say Spencer is Born to Run an LSAT class.See more
Abigail attended a STEM magnet program in high school and dreamed of becoming a neurosurgeon – until they auditioned for their school play and fell in love with theatre. 15 months later, Abigail began their new life as a double major in Theatre Performance and Humanitarian Studies at Fordham, and they haven’t looked back since. In 2020, Abigail discovered a passion for education, and they’ve worked with K-12 students in everything from devised theatre to AP Calculus. Yet their absolute favorite subject to teach is the LSAT! Standardized tests are in Abigail’s blood – they started taking the SAT when they were 10 years old – and out of all the tests they’ve encountered, the LSAT is by far the most learnable. They love helping students navigate the intricacies of the LSAT, ultimately turning a test that seems insurmountable into one that feels eminently conquerable. In their free time, Abigail loves sitting by the Central Park lakes, re-reading Brandon Sanderson books, and finding the all-time best Trader Joe’s snack (they’re always open to recommendations). Fun Fact: Abigail started watching The Bachelorette as a joke, but now, their love for reality dating shows is very real. Even more real than the shows themselves! They can (and have) talked for hours about how these shows only reflect what our society thinks reality “should” be. Yes, they’re a nerd about everything – even reality TV.See more

Mary is one of those weirdos who loves both science and people. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Mary spent her time studying the evolution of biomechanics: in normal people words, why the human body survives and moves the way it does. A scientist at heart, Mary loves applying the methods she uses in her research to real-life problems (hello logic games!) and even more, enjoys watching them click with students she has tutored in Spanish, math, and most recently the LSAT! In addition to being an instructor and tutor at Blueprint, Mary is a full-time researcher and spends her free time hanging out outdoors, trail running, climbing, and mountain biking. Fun Facts: In 2019, Mary ran the 37.5 miles across Joshua Tree National Park in one go and since then has not been able to look at a Clif bar the same.

If you ever need someone to nerd out about linguistics with, she’s your girl!See more
Patrick attended Stevenson University, and later Johns Hopkins University, studying legal studies and education. A political nerd with a deep belief in public education, Patrick has worked as a teacher in Ethiopia, Texas, and Washington, D.C.. Patrick’s true passion in education is for equity within the LSAT. Giving others the tools to open up doors and achieve their dreams is what motivates him the most. In his classes, Patrick likes to use common sense analogies and a straightforward approach to the LSAT to help students achieve their highest scores. Fun facts: Patrick is a student of Abrahamic faiths, Islamic philosophy, and a diehard Arsenal F.C. supporter.See more

Madelyn went to school at UCSB, studying Communication with minors in Professional Writing and Technology Management. While she loved living right next to the beach, she traded the ocean for skyscrapers when she moved to San Francisco after graduation. Now, she works full-time in sales and is in the process of applying to law school for Fall 2023. Madelyn was a Blueprint student herself for two years, and she is extremely excited to give back to the company that helped her improve her score by 20 points. In her free time, Madelyn serves as a head coach for her alma mater's mock trial time (she just can't get enough of the pre-law world). She is looking forward to using her coaching and studying experiences to help students achieve a score increase that makes them proud! Fun Facts: Madelyn can name any Taylor Swift song in under 3 seconds. She also named her cat after LeBron James. Her interests are all over the place. See more
Claudia graduated from UNC - Chapel Hill summa cum laude with a major in Human Rights and minors in Business Administration and Global Cinema.
